OUR MISSION
We facilitate clear communication between real estate businesses and their Deaf / HH consumers. We are a unique resource to help companies become ADA compliant.
OUR CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING
Real estate is a large industry expanding from home repairs to legal matters. For this reason, real estate professionals attend educational events on a regular basis. REIS certification is designed to match the same level of standards, therefore REIS certification is a continual certification.
REIS ACTIVE Real Estate certification standards.

REIS interpreters are required to participate in a minimum of 10 "Basics in Real Estate - Concepts, Documents, and Vocabulary" classes per 6 month period. Training is offered virtually bi-weekly.

Demonstrate understanding of industry vocabulary by passing (70% +) multiple-choice tests within the same six month period.

Participate in at least one Real Estate related activity. (closings, showings, inspections, meetings, real estate classes, etc)s
